“A LEADER IS ONE WHO KNOWS THE WAY, GOES THE WAY, AND SHOWS THE WAY.”

 Investiture means a formal investing of a person with authority, power, right and dignity. The ceremony was to badge the leaders of academic year (2025-26) who would be leading this year’s all the curricular and co-curricular activities and work with the team effort and bring out new and challenging events with all the success.

 The fair election was conducted to select the student council member on 17/6/25.  It’s rightly said that ‘leaders are not born, they are made’. Year after year, it reminds us of the trust and confidence that we repose in our newly elected and selected students’ council members.  To continue the legacy and to kindle the leadership qualities in our young prodigies the Investiture Ceremony was held on 16^th July 2025 at Vagdevi Vilas School, Nelamangala for the academic year 2025-26. 

Our respected Chairman, Shri K Harish was the chief guest of the ceremony.The ceremony began with Goddess Saraswati Vandana in form of a mesmerising performance of school choir group.      

The ceremony advanced with the prime custom of bestowing badges and sashes by the Chairman, to the newly formed Council – Head Boy and Head Girl along with Sports, Yoga, House Captains, Prefect. Donning the mantle of responsibility, they all pledge to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by rules and regulations of the Institution. The dignitaries administered the oath of allegiance to the newly appointed Board of Students’ Council, who swore to serve their Alma Mater with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities.

The newly elected Students’ Council marched forward to their respective houses, as it is said perfection is not attainable but when you chase perfection, you catch excellence. The zeal of the council was reflected in their confidence and dedication to execute their work.

The Chairman motivated the students and blessed them with his golden views which would help the students to make their vision clear for the achievement of their goal by performing their duties with full dedication. He then congratulated the newly elected Students’ Council and emphasize the significance of setting priorities and the need of the hour to be a team player. He reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all the values that the school stands for and urged them to take responsibility with commitment and integrity. 

The ceremony entered its final stage with the speech of Head Boy and Head Girl followed by the vote of thanks.
