Students election are important in every school.They help the students choose their own leaders like Head Boy,Head Girl and house captains. Through elections ,students learn about democracy,voting and leadership.Elections also make school activities more fair and fun because leaders are chosen by students themselves. The fair election was conducted on 12/06/2026.

The School Council Investiture Ceremony was held on 07.07.2026, Tuesday at Vagdevi Vilas School, Nelamangala. It marked the formal induction of the newly elected student leaders.

The event commenced with the students’ band group accompanying the chief guest, Shri K Harish, the Chairman of the Institution, escorted to the venue by the administrator of the institution, Shri Ranjith, academic advisors, Smt Manjuladevi & Smt Jayashree, Principal, Smt Renugadevi , Vice Principal, Shri Raghvendra Bhat & the house mistresses.

The event began with the hoisting of the school flag, with the general salute and singing of the Vagdevi Anthem. The program started with the rendition of a soulful invocation song. Later the Principal, Smt Renugadevi formally welcomed the gathering.

Followed by the students being honoured with sashes and badges by the chief guest, symbolizing beginning of their new responsibilities and commitment to serve the school. The Chief Guest administered the oath, urging the newly appointed council to uphold school’s values.

It was later followed by the march past, where the newly elected leaders and the four houses- Bhoomi, Agni, Vayu & Aakash, displayed synchronized discipline. The school head boy, master Vishal and head girl, kumari Nimishamba, addressed the gathering and reinforced their duties and responsibilities.

It was then followed by a spontaneous speech given by the newly elected Agni house girl’s captain, kumari, Arayna Joseph and Aakash house boy’s vice-captain, master Aditya.V.Rao , about their opinion about the post they were entrusted with, which was highly  appreciated by Chairman sir and  students were felicitated with cash award.

Later the Chairman addressed the gathering with his motivational speech, emphasizing the importance of integrity, accountability and leading by example. The event came to a closure with a formal vote of thanks and the Shanti Mantra.
