Vagdevi Vilas School, Nelamangala, came alive with energy, enthusiasm, and sporting spirit as it hosted the Intra-School Sports Meet 2026–27 for students of Classes I to X. The event celebrated fitness, teamwork, perseverance, and the joy of healthy competition.

The grand inaugural ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Ranjith, Administrator of Vagdevi Vilas School, Nelamangala and Bidadi. He was accompanied by Academic Advisor Smt. Jayashree, Principal Smt. Renugadevi, and Vice Principal Shri Raghavendra Bhat. The dignitaries were ceremoniously escorted to the school grounds by the school band troupe, led by the Sports Captains, Master Jeevan and Kumari Vishrutha.

The ceremony began with the hoisting of the school flag by the Chief Guest, followed by a melodious invocation song by the school choir. The four houses—Bhoomi, Agni, Vayu, and Aakash—marched with pride, discipline, and enthusiasm under the leadership of their captains and vice-captains, showcasing exemplary coordination and house spirit.

The Sports Oath was administered by the Sports Captains, inspiring every participant to uphold the values of honesty, fairness, and sportsmanship. The torch run added to the grandeur of the occasion, symbolising determination, unity, and the pursuit of excellence.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Ranjith, a renowned multilingual orator, captivated the audience with his inspiring and thought-provoking speech. Encouraging students to embrace challenges with confidence, discipline, and determination, he officially declared the Sports Meet open.

The sporting events for Classes I to IV commenced immediately after the inauguration on 27^th July, with every child enthusiastically participating in class-wise competitions. From 28th July to 31st July 2026, a wide range of individual and group events for Classes V to X were conducted house-wise. Students displayed remarkable enthusiasm, resilience, and team spirit, making every event exciting and memorable.

The Intra-School Sports Meet was a vibrant celebration of talent, determination, and camaraderie. Beyond medals and victories, the event nurtured invaluable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, discipline, hard work, focus, resilience, and the courage to strive for excellence.
